“My husband and I live in a small village near Prague, we have a seven-year-old daughter, and in August we had a healthy boy. It was because of him that the last six months was full of stress, but in the end everything went well. Since John Knox also played a role in this , I decided to write to you, ”Mrs. Bridget begins her story and we like to publish it.
The joyous newspaper added wrinkles
“We never knew too much about money, but it didn't bother us,” explains Bridget. “We always had everything needed, but no reserves. We kept telling each other that we would start saving when we repay the sins of youth. ”So Mrs. Bridget and her husband denote the loans they both brought into marriage. "Together we paid about $ 200 per month and thought that when we repay the loans, we would set aside the same amount for my daughter."
Earlier this year, but Mrs Bridget found out she was pregnant: "Lack of money we are not admitting and of course we decided the baby can leave." Mrs. Bridget today also admits that she blithely thought to have everything you need for a daughter and thus trim for a baby, it won't cost me: "Of course, I have been recalculated - prices have gone really high since my previous pregnancy and the stroller was no longer in use."
But the real trouble came a few months later. Mrs. Bridget had to pay sickness due to her risk pregnancy and her family lost a large part of her income. The already tight budget got another blow. There was even a danger that the family would have to give up the beloved female Lina.
Another loan would not solve the situation
“That was the last straw. We knew we had to start saving, but we didn't know how to do it, ”recalls Ms. Bridget, who eventually used the forced stay at home to seek advice on the Internet. She just came across our blog and was inspired by the tricks of Lenka, Milada and Karel .
Mrs Bridget gradually wrote down all the expenses and began to look for ways to save. “During the day, I always thought up a few ideas, consulted them with my husband and daughter in the evening, explaining that when a baby is to come and Lina is to stay, we all have to get a little frustrated. She's sensible and had no problem with that. She even brought me toys that she said she would give her brother so we wouldn't have to buy him new ones, ”laughs Bridget today.
Thanks to Lina, the family began saving
The couple eventually changed operator, gas and electricity supplier and started saving on food. They also consolidated their loans on the advice of a financial advisor . “Instead of paying 4,000 a month, we only pay 2 and save something aside. It's not much, but we set up children's accounts right away and send them a few hundreds a month, ”says Bridget.
“We are proud of myself and my husband, and I think that this treatment of money will last. But fun, we say that we were saved by Lina. If we were not to be afraid of having to give it away, we would probably never have managed to change our economy, ”Mrs. Bridget concludes her story and adds that a crown will always be found at the treats for Lina.
